Each box contains 250 individual straws, 6mm in diameter, 197mm in length. These straws are fully recyclable and made from biodegradable natural cellulose paper.

Our straws have been tested and approved to be in compliance with Council of Europe Resolution AP(2002)1 relating to paper materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.

WHY PLASTIC STRAWS?
All over the world millions of plastic straws are used everyday! Many of those plastic straws end up in our oceans, polluting the water and endangering sea life. Thanks to Sir David Attenborough's passionate plea and the 'Blue Planet' teams footage, plus the many others who are now highlighting the issues, more and more people are being made aware of the dangers of plastic in our oceans and to the wildlife. Below is just one of many disturbing incidents now being regularly reported online. It is the incident of a turtle found with a plastic straw embedded in its nostril. It breaks our hearts to know that this is happening. But by changing from plastic to paper straws we CAN help stop this from happening!
OUR RESPONSIBILTY
